From a distance, contemplated at once, a winding road is intimidating. All of the turns, viewed from a distance, can seem impossible to navigate. But by driving the road, and approaching each turn, one at a time, the road is simple to follow. Each turn, allowed to come in time, is simple to handle.
Why not wait for the turns to come, and take them one at a time, as best you can? So long as you’ve planned the correct route to your destination, you can have confidence that each turn along the way can be handled individually in stride. No need to stress on the next turn until this turn is completed.
Set your destination and route, yes, but leave the turns for their time.
